Utilizing volunteers, the Office of Archaeology and Historic Preservation is starting to make keyhole markup language (kml) files available to users. These files provide directory of National and State Register information in a format that can be viewed in Google Earth.
Currently, not all counties are completed. We will post more counties as they become available.
Please note: These files do not include sites with restricted locations. These could be sites where the owner has chosen to keep the address private or archaeological sites that need to be protected from vandalization. Should you need further information please contact the Office of Archaeology & Historic Preservation. The locations of restricted sites can only be provided to qualified individuals or agencies.
