Grants & Financial Incentives
History Colorado has two areas that provide grants for archaeology and historic preservation projects.
Federal and state tax laws provide tax incentives for historic preservation projects which follow the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for Rehabilitation.
The Colorado Historical Foundation (CHF) created the CHF Revolving Loan Fund (Loan Fund) to leverage resources available for preservation of Colorado’s historic buildings.
The following information is a general guide to sources of funding for preservation projects that assist in the acquisition, restoration, rehabilitation, education, promotion and protection of Colorado's important cultural resources.
