History Colorado offers fun, authentic classroom materials that bring the past to life. Check out artifact kits and grandmother trunks, find local resources, or download lesson plans created by teachers for teachers.
Packed with artifacts and activities, our history kits bring part of the museum to your school.
We are working with partners across the state to bring quality programs and experiences available to YOUR community!
Literacy lessons developed by Denver Public School teachers using primary sources from History Colorado collections and other public domain sources.
Artifact Kit Details
Period of Check Out: 2 weeks. Kits are checked out on Wednesdays.
Cost: $30 per kit plus return postage. $10 per kit if you pick up the kit or trunk from us.

Evaluation Forms: are included with every trunk and must be filled out by the teacher to check out additional trunks in the future.
