You may have crossed it, perhaps even driven along it, but now it’s time to hear the stories of one of our original downtown streets: Wazee. Join historian Bill Convery to discover the history of its name and learn about western shirts, supper clubs and even viaducts lost to the ravages of modernization. Discussing icons such as the Oxford Hotel and Rockmount Ranchwear, we’ll focus on what makes this street stand out from the rest. Wazee’s shimmer might have dimmed with the fortunes of downtown, but it’s brilliant again. Join us for the wonders of Wazee!
