300 Days exploded onto the Front Range bluegrass scene in 2016 with their fiery, highly-crafted original tunes and no boundaries. Since then, the band has electrified audiences across Colorado with the veteran musicianship of its members: the powerful, take-no-prisoners vocals and gravity-defying fiddle playing of Melissa McGinley (StereoFidelics), finely-honed songwriting from mandolinist and guitarist Nick Dunbar (Mountain Standard Time), and the tight rhythms of jazz-trained Dave “Pump” Solzberg (Fox Street All Stars) on upright bass. 300 Days combines their backgrounds in bluegrass, folk, rock, jazz, and Americana into a sound they call “prograss” that will knock you off your chairs and keep your toes tapping. 300 Days is joined tonight by Follow the Fox, the acoustic roots music duo of Lyons, Colorado artists Sarah Cole and Dylan McCarthy. Centered around captivating songwriting and passionate performances, Follow the Fox has quickly been making strides in the Colorado acoustic music scene. From heart-breaking ballads to hard-hitting bluegrass tunes, their spell-binding harmonies and thoughtful arrangements give them an authentic sound all their own.
