“Sisters of Loretto: 200 Years Working for Peace, Acting for Justice" Exhibit~Pueblo
Saturday, March 23, 2013 - 10am - Saturday, July 27, 2013 - 4pm

This traveling exhibit tells the stories of the Sisters of Loretto with their beginnings in Kentucky and then Santa Fe when four Sisters arrived there in 1852, and continues with the Sisters’ work in Colorado.

Hands On Heritage Festival
Sunday, May 19, 2013 - 12pm - 5pm

Bring the whole family to the first annual Hands On Heritage Festival for a weekend of food, music, dance, and culture that celebrates Colorado’s past and present while exploring History Colorado Center exhibits!
 

Southwestern Art and the Politics of Artifact Collecting~Byers-Evans House Museum
Friday, May 24, 2013 - 12pm - 1pm

Join us for a lecture on the topic of preservation in the Southwest led by Mark Sanders, Colorado Field Director for the Utah-based nonprofit Colorado Plateau Archaeological Alliance, and Ashley Rogers, Assistant Director of the Byers-Evans House Museum.

Heritage Preservation Day~Leadville
Monday, May 27, 2013 - 10am - 4pm

Healy House Museum & Dexter Cabin, along with other participating museums in Leadville, will be offering $1.00 admission in honor of Archaeology & Historic Preservation Month.

Green Building Tour - History Colorado Center

Ye Olde Flea at Healy~Leadville
Saturday, June 15, 2013 - 10am - 4pm

 

Local artisans will display crafts, art, antiques & collectibles, jewelry, homemade soaps and botanicals, psychic readings, food booths, activities for kids of all ages.
