Media Assistance
The Public Relations Office assists with story development, logistics and access to resources for media working on stories about History Colorado. History Colorado’s museums and historic sites provide ideal backdrops for video and film. In addition, many History Colorado staff members are experts in their respective fields and offer a wealth of information.
Experts available for media interviews
Call 303-866-4686 for interview requests. We can help you set up interviews with the:
- State Historian
- State Archaeologist
- State Historic Preservation Officers
- Staff within the State Historical Fund and the Office of Archaeology and Historic Preservation
- Curators of Artifacts and Books and Manuscripts
- Members of History Colorado's Executive Team
We offer free admission to our museums to working journalists on assignment.
For access to onsite resources, 24 hours prior, please send your name, contact information, publication/media outlet, topic you are covering, and how many entry passes needed to Rebecca Laurie.
