Archaeological Practice in Colorado
This course, formerly called Introduction to Archaeology, CAS, and PAAC, is designed to give new and prospective CAS members having limited or no familiarity with archaeology a brief introduction to the profession, common terms, and preservation issues. The mission of CAS, purpose and organization of PAAC, and relationships with state agencies such as OSAC also will be explained. This course is intended to provide interested PAAC volunteers with basic background information as a prelude to further participation in PAAC.
