Historic gardens

Plan Your Event at the Trinidad History Museum

The Baca-Bloom Heritage Gardens offer a beautiful setting for any event. Flower gardens fringe lawns around the Bloom Mansion, and the ornate Victorian home built in 1882. Guests can stroll through the Baca Kitchen Garden, Prairie Patch, Annual Ethnic Garden, and Rocky Mountain Waterwise Garden. Century-old trees and a colorful array of pink hollyhocks, orange trumpet vines, yellow columbine, and other seasonal blossoms make this a unique setting.

Prices

$50 for a 2 hour photo shoot
$100 for wedding rehearsals, art or photography classes
$300 for weddings and other events
All rentals require a refundable security deposit of $300.

Availability

9 am to 6 pm from May 1 – Sept. 30, weather permitting. We suggest that you consider renting tents in case of rain.

Hours:

May 1–Sept 30~Monday–Saturday, 10 am to 4 pm.

Oct 1–Apr 30~Heritage Gardens open Monday–Saturday, 9 am to 4 pm. Museum store open Wednesday–Saturday, 10 am to 1 pm in Oct. and Nov. Baca House, Bloom Mansion, Santa Fe Trail Museum open for group tours only. Call for reservations.
