National and State Register of Historic Places sites on Compass often include photographs, histories, and statements of significance for the property. Who can use Compass?
What else?OAHP offers qualified users a ten-day trial period to become familiar with the system. Although we do require you to fill out the application form to try out the database, we don’t require any form of payment and you are under no obligation to continue using the database after the trial period. If you are a researcher or work representing a non-profit or Higher Education organization there is no fee to continue using Compass after the trial period. If you represent a for-profit organization there is a subscription to use the system beyond the trial period. This is a nonrefundable annual fee of $250 per organization. An unlimited number of qualified staff from the organization may enroll under that subscription. If you are interested in taking advantage of the trial period or subscribing to Compass, please read our information packet (PDF) which contains important details about Compass and a user application. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions. |
