Denver

History Colorado Center

Volunteers perform administrative projects, assist our collections staff, facilitate education programs and tours, assist with visitor information services, and more. See our volunteer opportunities.

Governor’s Residence

Volunteer docents provide tours of this elegant and historic home to school groups and the general public.

Byers-Evans House Museum

Volunteers work as tour guides, admissions and gift shop staffers, and field trip facilitators for our Afternoon Into the Past program.

Leadville

Healy House Museum and Dexter Cabin

Volunteers lead school and adult groups, assist with events, or assist in the care of the heritage gardens.

Platteville

Ft. Vasquez

Volunteers help with school programs and perform as mountain men or traditional dancers.

Trinidad

Trinidad History Museum

Volunteers staff the Santa Fe Trail Museum from May through September, work in the Bookstore year-round, serve on the Events Committee year-round, and work in the Baca-Bloom Heritage Gardens from April through October.
