Shanea Ewing

Guest Services Manager at the History Colorado Center

Shanea Ruybal Ewing is a proud seventh generation Coloradan. Her family is from the small town, Garcia, in the San Luis Valley, but she was raised in Lakewood. She has a BA in History with a minor in Anthropology and Mandarin from Colorado State University. She received her MA in History, focusing on museums at the University of Colorado, Denver in 2018. Her thesis discussed how museums are evolving to be more inclusive and tell more stories of people of color, specifically Hispanics. She currently is the Guest Services Manager at the History Colorado Center.
