Interns are assigned to museum departments based on the department's need and the educational background, experience, and interests of the intern.
- Who can apply?

History Colorado welcomes candidates that are high school, college level students, recent graduates, graduate students, postgraduates, and professionals. Please check the application instructions for eligibility for each specific internship as they do vary.
- Benefits for History Colorado interns

All interns are recognized at an annual party for hours contributed during the previous year.
Interns receive a 10% discount in the Museum Store while wearing their badge.
Interns who volunteer 25 hours are eligible for a History Colorado Membership with a 20% discount.
Interns receive reduced parking rates at the Cultural Center Parking Garage while volunteering.

Fellowships
2022 Center for Colorado Women's History Fellowship
We are seeking three recipients for its Center for Colorado Women’s History Fellowship. We invite scholars, activists, artists, musicians and writers who are engaged in the expansion and expression of knowledge to help inform the understanding of women in Colorado’s history, specifically through the interdisciplinary lens and methodologies of women’s studies, gender studies, and/or race and ethnic studies. Fellows will have workspace at the Center for Colorado Women’s History, the opportunity to consult with the advisory committee of the museum and receive a stipend.
