Astra Taylor: So, Just What Is a Democracy Anyway?

Is democracy just a philosopher’s pipe dream, or a way of life we can really live in our workplaces, our neighborhoods, and our political life? Astra Taylor, an acclaimed essayist (The New York Times, The New Yorker, The Nation) and filmmaker (Zizek!, Examined Life, What Is Democracy?), discusses our hopes for a democratic future in our unsettled present.

We are excited to partner with our friends at Denver Film to bring this presenter to you. Their new platform offers the flexibility to enjoy this presentation at a time of your choosing. On the date of the event at 7pm, you will be able to access Astra Taylor's film What Is Democracy? as well as a conversation with Taylor on the topic: So, Just What Is a Democracy Anyway?
