Día del Niño

Celebrate Dia del Nino at the Center for Colorado Women’s History at the historic Byers-Evans House!

We will be open from 12:30 pm - 4:00 pm and throughout the afternoon our newest exhibit called Women/Work/Justice will be available to view in our carriage house gallery.  Our afternoon tours will be free and these will be held at 1:30, 2:30, and 3:30 (subject to availability).

In connection to the Dia del Nino celebration throughout the Golden Triangle we will have a storyteller portraying the Tortoise character from the story Balam: The Last Jaguar Warrior.  Please arrive before 1:00 pm to enjoy this portion of the Dia del Nino program.

From 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm Young Chautauquans will be portraying eight historic figures in the historic library of the house museum.

Check out performances happening at the History Colorado Center as well!
