Once known as the “Coney Island of the West,” Eldorado Springs Resort opened in 1905 for folks to “take the waters.” Though we won’t be dipping our toes in the springs on this trip—we’ll be wearing hiking boots, after all—it’s time to return to see the wonders, both natural and those created by us! We’ll have a hike around Eldorado Canyon State Park and a stroll beside the foamy waters of South Boulder Creek to share our own take on Coney Island. With so much breathtaking beauty, you may well end the day thinking you’ve found your own El Dorado! Provide your own transportation to the starting point.
