Colorado’s connections to the wider world don’t just reach to our neighboring states. Sometimes they even reach across the waves. Join us for a tour of five of Colorado’s Sister Cities. Our hosts are excited to have us, eager to learn about us and show us the best of their homes—our sisters across the seas. From Portsmouth, Ashby-de-la-Zouch and Broomfield in the UK, to Mechelen in Belgium and Chamonix in France, we’ll be jet-setters of the world, sharing the best of Colorado in ourselves. Portsmouth’s involvement in D-Day, Ashby’s millennia-old village pubs and churches, Broomfield’s Norman castle of Leeds, Mechelen’s beguines and Chamonix’s needles piercing the sky all await you, with the Southampton story of the Titanic as the icing on this traveling cake. Bon voyage! Includes bus and air transportation, admissions, guides, lodging and 20 meals, including all breakfasts (not normally included at hotels), four lunches and six dinners.
History Colorado Tours & Treks offers a grand assortment of travels to enrich your understanding of our state’s history, and beyond. Our 2019 tours reflect the growing interest and excitement in our state’s history and seeing its heritage as a firsthand experience. Walk in the footsteps of those who founded our state, our towns and our counties. Each trip is specially designed to inspire wonder in our past.
Join us for a year of adventures from neighborhoods in Denver to our viticultural areas on the Western Slope. New this year, History Colorado will go international to find our connections around the globe. We invite you to join us for a year of curiosity, adventure, excitement and, of course, fun! Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to another year of exploring the geography, archaeology and history of Colorado!
