InSights & InPerson ~ Connections: Mona Lucero and the Clothes We Live In

"Clothes mean nothing until someone lives in them." - Marc Jacobs

Do you have a piece of clothing that you’ve loved so much that it’s threadbare, torn, tucked away in a drawer, or maybe you’re still wearing it? Do you hang on to it for sentimental reasons, because nothing fits quite like it, or because you cannot afford to replace it, or perhaps some other reason?

Join the Curatorial Services and Collections Access division as Denver fashion designer Mona Lucero, discusses these topics and shares similar stories of “the Clothes We Live In.”  She'll be joined by Director of Collections Access Melissa de Bie to explore pieces of the History Colorado Collection for a rare opportunity to see special items and discover stories that make history matter!

This event is free and open to the public, but registration is required.
