Event International Cultural Festival Saturday, August 24, 2019 | 9:00AM — 4:00PM Chief Ouray passed on August 24, 1880 and his wife Chipeta passed on August 17, 1924. Come and celebrate their continuous legacy at our Chief Ouray and Chipeta Color Walk and Run from 9 to 11 a.m. From 11:30 to noon we'll be holding a garden dedication ceremony to celebrate the completion of phase one of our newly renovated Ute Indian Ethnobotany Garden featuring Traditional Ute plants. All day festival includes all sorts of entertainment and food.
