Bridging Borders wrap up

National Youth Summit: Woman Suffrage at El Pueblo History Museum

Join History Colorado, the Smithsonian, and students at five other museums across the country for a live webcast that will bring students, scholars, teachers, policy experts, and activists together in a national conversation. This year, the summit will examine the woman suffrage movement and women-led activism. This program is presented by the National Museum of American History in collaboration with Smithsonian Affiliations.

Daneya Esgar will be a keynote speaker during lunch, and local women political leaders will be invited to have lunch with the students during Daneya's presentation. We are also partnering with local organizations and colleges to host an expo from 10-11 a.m. with various activities including voter registration, protest sign making station, and phone banking station available.
