Susan B. Anthony, Whistle Stop Tour of Colorado

Susan B. Anthony, famous suffrage activist, took her fight on the road to Colorado in 1877. She, along with other activists, spoke to voters throughout Colorado to convince them to vote for women's suffrage in the next election. Come learn about her tour, and her continued support for the second round of voting in 1893.

Karen Dropps graduated from Regis College in Weston, Massachusetts, with a master's in Heritage Studies for a Global Society. After a move to Colorado in 2015 she has taken to learning more about the history of Colorado. An adjunct at Front Range Community College, she teaches the history of Colorado, with an emphasis on the culture of Colorado.
