Teaching Geo-Literacy Through Hands-On Resources at El Pueblo
Thursday, October 24, 2019 | 5:00PM — 8:00PM
This educator workshop addresses geo-literacy by examining interactions, intercommunications, and implications of our world as emphasized in the new 2020 Colorado Standards.
You'll leave feeling more confident as a spatially literate teacher with a number of resources you can use throughout the school year. The main focus is on using the National Geographic giant map of Colorado to help you bring your lessons to life.
This is a FREE workshop but space is limited (only 15 spots). RSVP here.
Light dinner and child care provided. Participants receive a $40 stipend for attending. For questions, contact Caitlin at firstname.lastname@example.org.
