Join us on Zoom on Thursday, September 3 at 6 pm for our next Borderlands of Southern Colorado online lecture. In this lecture, Roberto Montoya will present "The Utility & Complexity of Hamilton: The Musical."
Join us for a discussion as we explore the brilliance of Lin Manuel Miranda’s masterpiece and its applications for understanding culture and identity. Simultaneously, we will examine the pernicious erasure of Black and Native peoples.
Our dialogue will be led by Roberto Montoya, Hip Hop Pedagogue, host of Theory Heads Podcast, West Regional Manager with the Government Alliance on Race and Equity (GARE), Scholar, and overall government nerd.

Join authors, artists, scholars, and activists from around the country for the Borderlands of Southern Colorado lecture series as they deepen discussions and complicate narratives on various Borderlands topics. All talks are open to the public and have free access tickets available.
