Without Borders: Art Sin Fronteras

The art exhibit Without Borders is an artistic conversation with El Pueblo History Museum's acclaimed new history exhibit, Borderlands of Southern Colorado. Without Borders features a deep roster of contemporary indigenous artists from southern Colorado, northern New Mexico and beyond. Curated by Leland Chapin of the Northern Rio Grande National Heritage Area, the exhibit showcases diverse art media to expand on the words of philosopher Gloria Anzaldúa: "To survive the Borderlands/you must live sin fronteras/be a crossroads.” Opening the Thursday before the annual Chile and Frijoles Festival.
