Applicant Information
Eligibility
The Rocky Mountain Center for Preservation Field School is designed principally for graduate students and professionals in historic preservation fields.
This program includes daily physical activity, including walking and lifting over 25 pounds, at an elevation of 9,600 feet.
The application deadline is June 1, 2021. Registration is open to the first 10 students who apply on a first come-first serve basis.
Cost
Tuition for the Rocky Mountain Center for Preservation Field School is $500 per week. Payment of one week's registration fees will be collected at the time of registration. Full payment must be received by June 15, 2021.
Optional: Add dormitory lodging at Colorado Mountain College per week per person: $332 shared, $514 private.
Optional: Add breakfast/lunch in Twin Lakes on work days per week: $130, one dinner per week included.
COVID-19 Precautions
At History Colorado, we place the well-being of our staff and visitors at highest priority. We are so grateful for your cooperation and partnership as a participant in the Rocky Mountain Center for Preservation Field School. To guarantee plenty of participatory opportunities and ensure social distancing as much as possible, capacity is limited to 10 participants per week. Hand sanitizer, work gloves, and masks will be provided. Please review these agency policies developed in compliance with guidelines and requirements related to COVID-19:
- If you are feeling ill, or running a fever of 100.4 or higher, please stay home. You can contact the field school director, we will work with you to refund your fees.
- All guests over the age of three must wear a face covering during their visit. Please bring one with you.
If the field school has to be cancelled because of COVID-19, History Colorado will refund fees to all participants.
