Hands-On History Winter Break Camp at the History Colorado Center

Hands-on History Winter Break Camp is a weeklong experience at the History Colorado Center for young people ages 6 to 12 years old that bring history to life and connect to our larger world in engaging and exciting ways! Winter camp this year will bring youth from across the Denver Metro area to learn and create together. 

Swing Kids! Growing up in the 1940s

Welcome to "Swing Kids! Growing up in the 1940s" – an unforgettable experience designed to transport children on a captivating journey to the heart of 1940s America. Our immersive day camp offers young historians the opportunity to live, learn, and play as if they were growing up in this iconic decade.

Program Logistics:

Who: Kids ages 6-12 

When: Dec. 18 to 22, 8 am-5 pm (drop off 8-9 am; pickup 4-5 pm)

Where: History Colorado Center, 1200 Broadway, Denver

Cost: $250 for the week; with automatic tuition assistance available:
