History Colorado Center

The Hart Research Library is the primary access point to History Colorado’s vast collection of archives, artifacts, newspapers, and photography. Our library also offers free access to Ancestry Library Edition and Newsbank’s historic Colorado newspapers database.

The library is open to the public and free of charge. For researchers who are unable to visit or wish to order images from the collection, we offer research services and photo reproduction services.
