History Colorado Center

The History Colorado Center opened in 2012 in Denver’s Golden Triangle Museum District. An award-winning tourist destination and a hub for learning and entertainment, it’s also a place to shop and dine. The center houses core and traveling exhibitions, public programs and events, educational programs, and unique rental spaces, along with our Office of Archaeology & Historic Preservation and State Historical Fund and Hart Research Library.

"Too many historical exhibits pose everything as how it was. I appreciated how everything was continually linked to our daily lives and the Colorado we know now.  For a large building the information does not seem overly dense or overwhelming. Really something for everyone from period actors, to videos, interactive displays, and special monthly events. This should be on anyone's Denver must see list." - reviewer on Google
