Artifacts, stories, and art intermingle to tell the tale of Colorado and the American West. The museum is designed for multi-generational audiences and consists of over fifteen exhibits spanning four floors, capturing the pioneering and individualistic spirit of Colorado.
Colorado’s story is constantly evolving, and new exhibitions and displays American Democracy: A Great Leap Of Faith, Hecho en Colorado, What’s Your Story?, Women Behaving Badly, Game Changers and "Merciless Indian Savages" bridge the gap between the history of this great state and its impact on the here and now.

Monday, Members only (including History Buffs) 10 am – 5 pm
Tuesday–Sunday, 10 am – 5 pm
Tickets must be purchased online, in advance of your visit. No tickets will be sold on site.

Senior (65+): $12
Student (16-22 with valid student ID): $10
Child ( 5 – 15) General Admission: $8
Child (4 and Under): Free
Weekends in October: Free

"Prior to going, I was thinking this would just be another museum, boy was I wrong. Very well put together. Enjoyed seeing a place for the young to play and learn.
