Grants Awarded

Boggsville

Bent County

The Boggsville Historic Site is one of the first unfortified settlements in Colorado. In 1985 the site was listed in the National Register of Historic Places.

The Boggs House and Prowers House, both within the boundaries of the historic site, are in need of significant preservation work on their roofs and exterior walls. This grant will allow that critical work to proceed.

This site is listed on the National Register.
