This grant is for the development of State and National Register of Historic Places nominations for three distinct properties in Chaffee County, as well as for intensive surveys of three historic ranch properties located on or near the Collegiate Peaks Scenic & Historic Byway. These properties were selected with geographic distribution and resource diversity in mind, under-representation in current State and National Register listings in Chaffee County, and as properties that are at risk or that would serve as promotion for additional listings in the future.
