Colorado Experience III

Through 13 episodes in its upcoming third season, Rocky Mountain PBS’s Colorado Experience will explore historic places and landmarks across the state while illuminating the importance of preservation within these communities.

This season will focus on Denver’s Civic Center, the historic movie theaters of the Eastern Plains, the churches and People’s Ditch of the San Luis Valley, the Denver Mint, and more.  Beyond these episodes, Rocky Mountain PBS will hold three workshops in partnership with the Library of Congress’ Teaching with Primary Sources program to explore how teachers can use digital media in curriculum to bring the Colorado Experience into the classroom.  This concentration on historically significant places will breathe new life into the way Colorado historic preservation is presented to the public, encouraging viewers to visit sites and get involved with advocacy in their communities.
