Colorado State Hospital Superintendent’s House

Completed circa 1934, the two-story Mediterranean style residence has white stucco walls and a red tile roof.

For 28 years it was the home of Dr. Frank Zimmerman, a pioneer in the humane treatment of the mentally ill who also fought for better salaries and facilities. 

Roof repairs were funded through an SHF grant.
