Economic Benefits Study
Colorado Preservation, Inc. was awarded a grant from SHF to conduct a study of the economic and community benefits of preservation throughout Colorado.
Building on earlier work, this new study will update findings concerning the rehabilitation of historic properties and heritage tourism’s effect on property values. It will also help shape thinking on how preservation affects the local and statewide economies, while identifying future challenges and opportunities for preservation in Colorado amid development challenges and a growing population.
