Using a design by Robert DuBois, the Pueblo Bridge Company began construction in 1920.

Huerfano Bridge

Completed in 1921, the segmental, reinforced concrete filled spandrel arch was considered to be a significant crossing of the Santa Fe Trail, now US 50.  It is the longest filled spandrel arch for roadway use in Colorado.  Listed under Highway Bridges in Colorado Multiple Property Submission.
