KOK Ranch

Chaffee County

The KOK Ranch was established in February of 1917 by John and Josephine Groy.  Immigrating from Italy in the late 1800’s, they raised grain and field peas for livestock on the ranch.

The modern-day ranch produces hay and high-altitude cattle. There are still 3 buildings on the property built prior to 1890. It is currently in its 4th generation operated by Richard Sharpe and Luke Sharpe.
