Ross-Broadway Branch, Denver Public Library

Denver County

The 1951 Ross-Broadway Branch of the Denver Public Library is an excellent and a rare Denver public expression of the Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired Usonian style of architecture.

A view of the library from a corner perspective with red brick walls, brown roofs. In the foreground are leafless trees and black and blue kiosk on the right.

Ross-Broadway Branch, Denver Public Library

Designed in 1950 by well-known Denver architect Victor Hornbein, it was completed in 1951.  It is also important for its association with the development of Denver public libraries in the early and mid-twentieth century.
