Vail Hotel

The 1910 Vail Hotel is a fine example of the Second Renaissance Revival style. 

A view of the building with ornate  walls and overhanging roof. In the center is a depressed section.

Named for John E. Vail, a prominent Pueblo newspaperman, it was considered by many to be the most modern hotel west of Chicago.
