Hands-On History at Ute Indian Museum
Our Hands-On History day camps and after school programs provide safe, engaging learning opportunities for elementary school children. Learning opportunities include Ute Stories, Native American Beadwork, Fry Bread Making, and more.

Friday, February 21, 8 am to 3 pm: Nuuche Stories! Ute Stories, Native American crafts and much more. Explore Native American history and become a Jr. Archaeologist.
Friday, March 13, 8 am to 3 pm: Nuuche Adventures! Ute Stories, Beadwork, Fishing, Archery and much more. Explore our native plant garden and learn about local Native American history. Who: Kids ages 6+ Where: Ute Indian Museum, 17253 Chipeta Road, Montrose, CO Cost: $25 per child
