FIELDWORK!

Pedestrian survey/site recording at Fisher’s Peak State Park near Trinidad, CO

August 2-4, 2022.

The current schedule is to go down on August 2, work August 3, finish up August 4, and return that afternoon/evening. Housing provided will be in the form of “bunking” in the Park’s “field” house Tuesday and Wednesday nights (possibly on the floor depending on the number of people) or camping around said house. We are hoping for 6-7 volunteers (preferably with some survey or archaeology experience, but not necessarily required) with a max of 10. We will be assisting Term Archaeologist, Dr. Rachel Egan, with the re-survey and re-recording of a largely historic site that covers several acres near the highway.
