Shaun Boyd has been the Curator of Archives at History Colorado since 2018. In addition to Colorado History Shaun is particularly interested in Women's History, the Progressive Era, the History of Newspapers, genealogy, and cemeteries. She serves on the Colorado Historic Records Advisory Board and has served on the boards of the Society of Rocky Mountain Archivists and the Academy of Certified Archivists.

    Letters Colorado’s Women’s Suffrage Leaders Probably Didn’t Want You to Read

    The campaign for the women’s vote in Colorado was one of letters. Organizers traded views and information regularly in private letters. Many of those letters are now in History Colorado’s collection, offering us a behind-the-scenes look at the campaign - even a few things they might not have wished to preserve for posterity.
