A Denver native, filmmaker and visionary Anthony Grimes has been instrumental in forming movements that shape culture in a variety of arenas. He founded the Denver Freedom Riders to support the Ferguson and Baltimore uprisings and was honored as the keynote speaker in the 2014 MLK Marade in Denver, as well as for the United Nations’ Decade for People of African Descent inaugural conference in the Netherlands in 2015. Grimes has led delegations internationally to call for change in human rights offenses.
