Mary Menz is a career writer and editor and multi-year volunteer at the Ute Indian Museum. She is a Colorado Native Plant Master® and teaches the course for CSU Extension on the Western Slope. Menz is also the author of Common Wildflowers of the San Juan Mountains, available from the Colorado Native Plant Society’s online bookstore or from Ouray Bookshop, Telluride’s Between the Covers bookshop, and the Ute Indian Museum’s gift shop.
