Marissa Volpe

Chief of Equity and Engagement, History Colorado

Marissa Volpe is the Chief of Equity and Engagement at History Colorado where she works alongside a statewide community of Colorado stakeholders toward the full participation in preserving and celebrating the history of Colorado. Her work also aims to educate and engage the staff of History Colorado in the application of diversity, equity and inclusion through best practices in promoting a culture of belonging.  Her academic background includes a dual B.A. in Latin American Studies and Spanish and graduate degrees in Intercultural Communication Studies from American University's School of International Service and a doctorate in Spirituality and Story from Wesley Theological Seminary.
