Plan your visit to the Center for Colorado Women’s History
General Admission
Visitors to the Center for Colorado Women’s History can view a portion of the museum’s annual exhibit Rumors of Bloomers, as well as several rooms of the historic house onsite, independently with general admission. Visitors will need 30 to 45 minutes for this experience. General admission is available any time during the museum’s public hours.

Museum Tour
The Museum Tour treats visitors to a 45-minute guided tour that offers a snapshot of the lives of the women who lived and worked in the historic house onsite, as well as an avenue to talk more broadly about gender history in Colorado. Themes on the Museum Tour include Suffrage, class history with a focus on domestic work, World War 1, the Arts and Crafts Movement, women artists in Colorado, and colonial legacies of families like the Evans who formerly resided in the historic house.

Plan to spend 90 minutes at the museum. Museum Tours are offered hourly, on the half-hour, during public hours.

Bloomers Tour
Choose a Bloomers Tour to experience a deeper dive of Rumors of Bloomers through a docent-led tour that spans about 45 minutes. Visitors will venture through the historic house to view additional rooms and artifacts part of Rumors of Bloomers. This experience is perfect for visitors looking to better understand the mysteries, myths, and facts about historic undergarments.
Bloomers Tours are on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 2:30 p.m. Tickets for these tours are $15 for members and $20 for non-members but capacity is limited so advance purchase is recommended. To reserve a space, purchase a ticket online or in person at the Center for Colorado Women’s History.

For groups of 8 or more, private Bloomers Tours are available for booking on the hour on Thursday and Saturday during the museum’s public hours at the standard ticket rate. Contact Margaux at margaux.miller@state.co.us for scheduling.
