Monday, October 5, The Living Dream: 100 Years of Rocky Mountain National Park, 1–3pm
Join us for Nick Mollé’s presentation “The Living Dream,” a collection of historical photography and vintage contemporary film that tells the history of Rocky Mountain National Park from the Native American and Mountain Man eras through the 20th century, followed by Q&A. Reservations required.

Tuesday, October 6, Archival Treasures, noon–1:30pm
History Colorado’s archival collections include letters, diaries and personal records from some of Colorado’s most famous (and infamous) individuals. Take an in-depth look at original documents from the Tabor family, William Jackson Palmer, Ned Wynkoop, George Bent and more. Reservations required.

Monday, October 19, Colorado’s State Symbols, 1–2 pm, 7–8 pm
Did you know Colorado has more than thirty official state symbols? State Historian Emeritus Dr. William Converyuncovers the history behind some of the more obscure state symbols—and makes the case for why we need them. Reservations required.

Tuesday, October 20, Third Tuesday Rendezvous, 5–9pm
Can’t make it to the museum during business hours? See the exhibits and check out special out-of-the-box after-hours programs and activities. Best for ages 18+. Free with museum admission.  

Wednesday, October 21, The Latino Experience in Vietnam, 6–8pm
Latino soldiers died at a disproportionately high rate during the Vietnam War, leaving many wondering why the democratic ideals they fought for abroad were denied to them at home. Join us for a discussion on the Latino experience in Vietnam and the Chicano and anti-war movements. Reservations required.

Monday, October 26, Sisters of Courage: Homesteading the Rockies,1–2 pm
Join historian Dave Lively as he shares the pioneer experience of Annie and Kittie Harbison and their family’s extraordinary life. Reservations required.

Saturday, October 31, Historic Halloween, 11am–2pm
Trick-or-treat around the museum and meet famous Coloradans like William Green Russell and Molly Brown.
