Born in Boston in 1932, Caponigro is recognized as one of America’s most significant and influential fine art photographers. He is the recipient of two Guggenheim Fellowships and three National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) grants. Caponigro’s images can be found in the photographic collections of most museums, texts on the history of photography and is one of the undisputed masters of photography. The exhibition is presented in partnership with Open Shutter Gallery, which is a photography gallery in Durango.

Come in to see the gallery on November 6 when the Byers-Evans House Museum and Gallery will be open for extended hours from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm in conjunction with the Golden Triangle Museum District First Friday Art Walk.The exhibition will run till January 2.
