DENVER — February 11, 2014 - Fifty Colorado immigrants originally from 24 countries will take the Oath of Allegiance to become United States citizens on Feb. 19 at the History Colorado Center during a U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) naturalization ceremony. This is the first naturalization ceremony hosted by History Colorado, which takes place from 1 to 2:30 p.m. in the museum’s Anschutz Hamilton Hall. Museum visitors are invited to watch.
DENVER — History Colorado announced today that Janet McFarland Burlile has joined History Colorado as its Vice President of Development and Membership. She was introduced at History Colorado’s Board of Directors meeting on Jan. 22, 2014.
DENVER — The History Colorado State Historical Fund (SHF) is proud to announce the funding of 120 grants for historic preservation, totaling more than $8.8 million for fiscal year 2014. Since 1993, SHF has funded more than 4,080 projects, totaling more than $262 million in direct grant investment in Colorado communities.
