The J. Warner Mills House is a Late Victorian dwelling situated in Denver's Whittier neighborhood. The asymmetrical west side faces Gilpin Street and is divided into two sections. The larger south section is topped by a front-facing gable roof with decorative fish-scale shingles and bargeboards. The smaller north section steps back slightly from the south section and holds the primary entrance.

J. Warner Mills House

The 1892 J. Warner Mills House is a Late Victorian dwelling situated in Denver's Whittier neighborhood, approximately 1.5 miles northeast of the Colorado State Capitol. Mills, the home's first occupant, a lawyer, and women's suffrage advocate, was the author of the 1893 legislative bill that enabled women to have full voting rights in Colorado. 

The photo is of the north and west sides of the church and prominently features the tower which contains the entrance to the church.

First Baptist Church of Salida

The First Baptist Church of Salida occupies the south corner at the intersection of D and E. 4th streets in Salida, CO. Construction of the Late Gothic Revival church began in 1885, based on plans drawn in Denver by an unnamed architect. 

The photo is of a brick church painted red. To the left side of the image there is a two story tower that marks the entrance to the building. To the right of the tower is the south elevation of the church. It contains a pointed arch window in the center of the elevation with stained glass inserts.

Eighth Street Baptist Church

Home to one of Pueblo's oldest Black congregations and the site of women's suffrage activities, the Eighth Street Baptist Church was first built at the southwest corner of W. 8th and Elizabeth streets in 1891 and then substantially expanded in 1908.

Sierras y Colores

Prominent Chicano artist Carlos Sandoval painted Sierras y Colores in 1986. The mural sits in a prominent space on the side of the former Dr. De La Pena Clinic & Mesa Drug Store at 318 Main Street in San Luis, Colorado. The mural is large, taking up the entire side of the building at around 20 x 15ft

South Fork Passenger Shelter

The setting of the passenger shelter was historically alongside the southwestern bank of the Rio Grande River, where the current Coller State Wildlife Area is located. It remained in this locale, in the vicinity of the town of South Fork, from 1912 to approximately 1970-1971, when the Marvels relocated it to their private property.
