From 1903 to 1904, Victor witnessed the height of the Colorado Labor Wars, during which time the Miner’s Union Hall played a crucial role as a gathering place place for miners and laborers.  The hall was even caught in the crossfire: today, bullet holes are still visible along its back wall.
