The A.G. Ranch House is located in the Pike National Forest, situated in a valley meadow in mountainous terrain in northern Park County, Colorado.

Montview Boulevard Presbyterian Church is important for hosting a variety of social activities and for playing a key role in the establishment of the Park Hill Action Committee (PHAC), which worked to improve race relations in the 1960s. The amendment to the National Register listing further acknowledges Montview’s local significance in the areas of social and black history.

The Sociedad Protección Mutua de Trabajadores Unidos (SPMDTU) Lodge Hall was built around 1920 near Culebra Creek in Chama. The area is part of an extensión, a long, narrow strip of land reflecting the area’s early settlement by Hispanos in the 1850s. Constructed of stuccoed adobe block walls atop a concrete foundation, this lodge hall, or sala, served as a local chapter house for the Hispano labor union.

The Deatherage/Gibbs Place consists of a two-story log house, collapsed workshop, generator house, two cisterns, and a depression where a privy equipped with a three-hole board seat once stood. The original log bay of the house may date to 1890, a time when the site functioned both as a ranch and a timber operation. Later, possibly between 1899–1913, the house doubled in size with the addition of an equal-sized bay of frame construction.

The Greeley Masonic Temple is an important design of architect William N. Bowman.  The 1927 Masonic building is his only known commission to have employed a modernist interpretation of Georgian Revival architecture.

This nationally significant narrow-gauge railroad segment exists as one of only two operating sections of what was once a state wide network of three foot gauge tracks built and operated by the Denver and Rio Grande Railroad.
